American Tactical Imports 1911 22 LR 5" Threaded Barrel 10 Round Capacity GERG2210M1911
Description
GSG M1911 .22 LR 5" Threaded Black Walnut 10+1 GERG2210M1911
GSG M1911
The GSG M1911 is a full size 1911 style pistol chambered in .22 LR high velocity. It uses a 5 inch threaded steel barrel, a black anodized zinc alloy frame, and double diamond walnut grips. A 10 round magazine gives 10+1 capacity, and the pistol weighs 34.40 ounces with an 8.50 inch overall length.
An ambidextrous thumb safety and extended beavertail grip safety keep the controls in classic 1911 form. A 3-hole skeletonized aluminum trigger is set for a 5 pound single action pull. The low profile fixed rear sight ships with three front sights in low, medium, and high heights. The M9x.75 threaded barrel under the slide is ready for an adapter and muzzle device.
This black GSG M1911 suits plinking, training, and inexpensive 1911 practice with .22 LR. Many standard 1911 parts interchange, so the pistol can grow with extra controls or sights. It is a practical choice for shooters who want a GSG 1911 with a 5 inch threaded barrel and walnut grips.

first off, the gun is super solid - nearly the weight of a standard 1911 and feels extremely well made. It is also very accurate right out of the box, I was hitting the target from the first round. Can't speak to the long-term reliability, but I have about 100 rounds of Winchester bulk ammo down range so far and no issues whatsoever.. functioned perfectly. I really like the extended beaver-tail, skeletonized hammer and trigger, and the ambi-safety - nice touches for a 22lr.
The only thing I didn't like is that the sights are plastic. This isn't a big deal, as they work fine and I can get some nicer ones pretty cheap if needed, but just thought I would point it out. Overall, very happy with the gun and would definitely buy again.
